Global Investor Programme (GIP)
The Singapore Global Investor Programme (GIP) offers eligible global investors a pathway to Singapore Permanent Residence through substantial business or investment commitments.
The programme is designed for established business owners, next-generation business owners, founders of fast-growing companies, and family office principals with strong entrepreneurial, investment, and management track records.
Applicants may qualify through one of three investment routes, starting from a minimum investment of S$10 million.

Requirements of the singapore global investor programme
To qualify for the Global Investor Programme, applicants must demonstrate a strong entrepreneurial, business, investment or management track record and satisfy the eligibility criteria applicable to their applicant profile.
Applicants must also select and fulfil one of the programme’s three investment options.
Option 1- Business Investment
Access the Growth category from NZD 5 million, or the Balanced category from NZD 10 million
Option 2- GIP Select Fund
Choose between Growth and Balanced, with a range of eligible investment options available across the two categories
Option 3- Single Family Office
Maintain qualifying investments for three years under Growth or five years under Balanced
Program Requirements

Principal Applicant
Aged 18 or over, with good health and character.
Family Members
Spouse or partner and eligible dependent children up to age 24 can be included.
Investment Requirement
Applicants must qualify under either the Growth or Balanced investment category.
Growth Category
A minimum investment of NZD 5 million is required over three years. Eligible investments focus primarily on direct investments and managed funds, with investors required to spend at least 21 days in New Zealand during the investment period.
Balanced Category
A minimum investment of NZD 10 million is required over five years. This category provides access to a broader range of eligible investments, including listed equities, bonds, property development, managed funds, direct investments and philanthropy. Investors are generally required to spend at least 105 days in New Zealand over the five-year period, with potential reductions for additional qualifying investment.
Residence for the Family
The principal applicant can include their spouse or partner and eligible dependent children up to the age of 24, allowing the family to secure New Zealand residence together.
Flexible Residence Requirements
The Active Investor Plus Visa is designed for internationally mobile investors. Under the Growth category, only 21 days of physical presence in New Zealand are required over the three-year investment period.
Live, Work and Study in New Zealand
Successful applicants and their eligible family members can live, work and study in New Zealand, with access to its high standard of living, stable economy and established legal system.
Education Opportunities
Eligible dependent children can study at New Zealand schools and tertiary institutions as domestic students, providing access to the country's well-regarded education system.
